Threadtales - A graduation project

For my graduation project at AMFI, I developed a brand and platform featuring three short documentaries.

Threadtales aims to convey the stories behind modern fashion crafts, seeking to raise awareness in the digital realm. Threadtales believes in a world where every handmade garment carries a meaningful message, filled with passion and appreciation for the artisanal creation process.

Senne Roeper: Renewed style

Senne’s story of giving a new life to old garments or used fabrics.

Alei Verspoort: Timeless Basketry

Alei uses traditional methods to craft bags at her brand Packbags. Each bag is meticulously handmade in the atelier located in Amsterdam.

Raquel Pica: Knitting beyond sweaters

We get into Raquel’s story of using the knitting machine in the modern fashion industry. The knitting machine is a transformative innovation in the realm of textile manufacturing, offering capabilities far beyond the conventional creation of sweaters.
